General Info

Did you know: The N64's internal design was first offered to Sega by Nintendo and their partners who eventually turned it down. Nintendo gave the N64 project the code name 'Project Reality'. Originaly they planned to call the console 'Nintendo Ultra 64'. The N64 was actually capable of producing better graphics than the Sega Saturn and the Playstation, it was only the limited storage size on the ROM cartridges that prevented the console from utilising its full power.

Controller Pak: this allowed gamers to save their game progress, Expansion Pak: A memory expansion pak that allows an extra 4MB of RAM. This was needed to complete certain games, Wide-boy 64: Allowed gamers to play Gameboy games on the N64. Very hard to come by, 64DD: A disk drive add on only ever released in Japan, VRU: A voice recognition unit for the N64 to be used with certain games.
