The Older Gamer's Times
Tuesday 12th February 2008
It begins at last! The first of many Blog/Rants on being a nearly middle aged gamer. The picture there on the left is not me. It is the wonderfully scatty Sir Clive Sinclair. Sir Clive was everywhere when I was growing up. He seemed to represent a new Britain of super technological advances. A bold new era. The 1980's. A decade where we would all wear lots of pastel colours, have mullets(See Right) or flat top haircuts and we would all play Jet Pac and Manic Minor.
Of course like everything British, Sir Clive made a few great little computer/console bits and then brought out the C5, which was absolute crap. And that was the end of that. He was last seen trying to flog us a rubbish little fold up bike thing. He's like a posh, knighted, Del Boy now really.
So what does this all mean to you, the person reading this. Well, I hope to a amuse you along the way. I also hope to inform you a little, albeit with my tongue in my cheek for the most part. Anyway I'm off now to start putting more flesh on the bones off this fledgling site.I leave you with a pic of that crap bike thing. PEACE.
