Recently, I have bought the following: Unreal Tournament 3, Ghost Squad, Mass Effect and Devil May Cry 4. I have looked forward to these titles for a long time. I stick them in their various Next Gen machines, play 'em and marvel at them for 5 minutes.
What happens then is amazing! I get totally bloody bored. Bored, Bored, Bored!!!

Recently I have also bought: Burger Time, Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr.
I have played Burger Time, loads and loads and loads. I think we forget sometimes just how effective these early console and arcade offerings are.
I really urge you to dip into the world of some of the earliest titles. Stick Asteroids in an Atari 2600 and see what I mean. Simple and totally addictive.

How about a next gen remake of Burger Time? Here's my pitch to EA or any other big developer. A group of Special Op Chefs head into the jungle to investigate a strange incident. Soon they are surrounded by Alien Pickles, Hotdogs and Eggs. The battles take place on a series of Alien constructed ladders..........It could work! Well it couldn't be any worse then Call of Duty 4 could it!!!!!
