Sometimes I'm in the mood to write something light and funny in this here blog and then there are the times when I want to let off steam.
This has been building and building for some time. This week my rant is about the corporate world of gaming shops.
Yes you know who you are GAME and GAME STATION.
Completely bloody SOUL-LESS!!!
I used to go to a GAME STATION in Bromley. It sold Imports, retro games and interesting merchandise. It felt personal. The staff knew their stuff. In the last store I went into a member of staff told me they had thrown a NEO GEO AES onto a skip because they didn't know what it was AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
But now I have found a little ray of hope in the form of a little shop called CHIPS. It sells all the current gen stuff, of course it does. But it also has a decent selection of Retro stuff too!

This is not an infomercial. I have nothing to gain by telling you this but I thought I should spread the news. I hope the CHIPS stores in the UK thrive because it flies in the face of those soul-less giants.
