Touch Generations. We have seen the ads with Old Granny sitting next
to her wholesome teenage Grandson playing Wii Play.I have seen the wholesome girls next door playing RESI 4 in the ads. But do we believe this crap. The answer is "NO" not for one minute.
I do not believe that girls and women are getting into gaming in a big way.

You see my daughter currently delights in her DS. She loves the whole Pippa Funnel, Nintendogs thing. SHE IS 5!!!! Will she be queing up in GAME when she is 15. No I very much doubt it.

Does Nicole Kidman play DS. Does she!! No she doesn't.

When I stand in a game shop I realise I am not standing in a Sexy place. I am old.
There are no women. I am surrounded by Nerds.

I guess I kinda applaud Nintendo for trying. But who are ya kidding.
You are just trying to make a load of sweaty palmed geeks feel that we aren't boring and un-sexy. That hot lady in the bar is
gonna love you if you say "Hey I've got a Wii". Will she? No she bloody wont!

Here at RH I have noticed a couple of ladies have joined us, but I want to hear their voices, their opinions. So I guess this is a challenge
as well as a rant I would love to see a female gamer's blog on RH. So if you are one, or know one get 'em to drop me a line.
